Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the Grand Californian was a mixed bag for me. While the hotel boasts an unbeatable location with direct access to California Adventure Park, my experience was marred by the handling of an unfortunate incident involving lost property. The lobby is stunning and the beds are incredibly comfortable, but the service fell short of what I've come to expect from Disney resorts, leaving me disappointed overall.
Our stay at the Grand Californian was absolutely wonderful, with convenient access to both Disneyland and California Adventure Park. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, though they come at a high price. The service was exceptional, with staff always eager to assist us. Dining options were plentiful and high quality, offering a delightful breakfast experience. One minor downside was the limited pool hours, but overall, it was a magical experience.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is unbeatable, with direct access to California Adventure Park, making it super convenient for park visits. The rooms were nice but not as spacious as expected, and I felt the service could improve, especially during check-in. Dining had its highs and lows, with some meals being exceptional and others not living up to the price. Overall, while there are standout features, I think some aspects need attention given the high cost.
The Grand Californian is a beautiful hotel with an upscale feel, offering direct access to Disney California Adventure Park. The rooms are quite nice but not necessarily extraordinary for the price. Dining options provide a mix of experiences, and while the staff go above and beyond, some aspects like housekeeping could use improvement. All in all, it’s a lovely place to stay, but the cost may not justify the benefits, especially if you’re budget-conscious.
Staying at the Grand Californian was a wonderful experience with its convenient access to California Adventure Park and tastefully decorated interiors. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but the check-in process left a bit to be desired. The dining options were enjoyable, but the prices can be quite high for what you get. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel that embodies Disney magic, though some aspects could be improved for the price.
